Introduction
Many Grand Ole Opry radio broadcasts featured appearances by Patsy Cline, and some of those appearances survive on transcription discs.
The Pet Milk performances originate from an Opry spin-off show titled Friday Night Frolics, taped in front of a smaller audience at WSM Studios and pressed onto vinyl discs for later broadcast in syndication.
The Prince Albert performances were transcribed onstage at the Ryman Auditorium during segments of live Opry broadcasts that Prince Albert tobacco sponsored on Saturday nights. This practice ended by late 1960. Original discs are not reported for the Prince Albert performances, since they exist on metal-based acetates that were not made for release.
Only performances with extant recordings are reported on this page. For a more thorough list of Opry appearances by Patsy Cline, refer to the Grand Ole Opry Appearances page on the Miscellanea menu.
