Patsy Cline
Introduction

Here are the weekly rankings of Patsy Cline's Cash Box Top 100 Pop hits. "She's Got You" was Patsy's strongest hit on Cash Box Pop, peaking at #11 on March 17, 1962. "I Fall To Pieces" stayed for 20 weeks, impressive for a country artist of that era, and ranked #96 on the Year End Singles Chart of 1961. "Crazy" was Patsy's fastest bullet on this chart, debuting at #66. As with the Cash Box Country chart, "Imagine That" appeared on Cash Box Pop the week before "When I Get Thru With You", which bulleted to #69 the following week, overtaking "Imagine That" at its slower climb.

Billboard Pop hits which failed to chart Cash Box Pop include "Who Can I Count On", "Strange", "Why Can't He Be You", the 1961 recording of "Walkin' After Midnight", "Faded Love" and "Someday You'll Want Me To Want You". Most of Patsy's popular songs charted higher on Cash Box than Billboard, however, which suggests that record buyers were less likely to categorize Patsy as a country music singer than radio stations or disk jockeys. Nearly all of her Cash Box Pop debuts happened before respective Cash Box Country showings, except for "I Fall To Pieces" and "Leavin' On Your Mind", both of which charted country first, and "Crazy", which debuted on the Cash Box Pop and Country charts during the same week.
