1. Filming vs. Broadcast Date
Historian Jordan Taylor explains that some of the arrangements for this episode are dated August 9th in Nelson Riddle's ledger. The episode was probably kinescoped closer to the August 9th date, although it was broadcast on August 27th.

2. The Merry Macs
The vocal group consists of Judd, Ted and Marjorie Garland McMichael, and Vern Rowe.

3. "Chopsticks" Lyrics
This 1877 composition is credited to Arthur De Lulli, a pseudonym for British composer Euphemia Allen. Lyrics were written for The Merry Macs to perform during this sequence; Jordan Taylor explains that the identity of the lyricist was probably Shirley Henry (wife of producer/director Bob Henry), as she often wrote special lyrics for the show.
