A few of these performances were television broadcasts, but only the audio is known to survive. For a list of performances that include video footage, refer to the TV Appearances page. For a list of Arthur Godfrey appearances, both radio and television, refer to the Arthur Godfrey Appearances. For a list of Grand Ole Opry transcriptions, refer to the Opry Transcriptions page.

Two concerts were preserved on tape, and both are listed on this page. For an extensive list of Patsy's tour dates, refer to the Patsy Cline Timeline on the Miscellanea menu of this discography.

1. Kagarise Recordings
Leon Kagarise taped this audio from various broadcast dates. More information can be read about the country music fan and recording enthusiast here.

2. Broadcast
Don Owens' T.V. Jamboree was a weekly live broadcast that aired Saturday nights on Washington's Channel 5 (WTTG-TV). The program was never kinescoped or videotaped.

3. Dates
Publications reveal that Patsy first signed to appear for Don Owens in March of 1959, although these extant performances stem from the summer months of July and August that year, when Patsy had a busy touring schedule in and around the D.C. area. An exact date of 8/22/59 was determined for "Dear God" based on commentary made by Owens after the performance, in which he advertises Patsy's upcoming appearances in the region.

4. Personnel
The Bluegrass Champs were the house band for the Don Owens Jamboree. The Champs were members of the Pop Stoneman family, and included Scotty Stoneman (fiddle), Donna Stoneman (mandolin), Van Stoneman (guitar) and Jimmy Stoneman (bass). Not all members of the band are heard backing Patsy, and others (steel, percussion) have not been identified.
